Me and my husband went here for candle making lessons. We had a lot of fun making the candles. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a great hands on weekend art getaway.

We had such a fun and unique experience at The Remontant for their luxury candle making class. I went with my daughter, her friend, another mom, and it was such a memorable way to spend a few hours together. If you are looking for a mother daughter activity, girls night idea, date night experience, or corporate team event, this is absolutely worth checking out.
Mo, the owner, led the class herself, with help from Sam, and they made the experience welcoming, creative, and fun. We learned how to make candles from start to finish, picked and named our own custom fragrance, and even created a custom label for our candle, which made it feel personal and elevated. It was relaxing, hands on, and something different from the usual outing.
To make it a full day, grab lunch in the plaza, take a walk by the lake while your candle cools, or stop for a drink or ice cream nearby. It made for such an easy and enjoyable afternoon.
The retail shop is also worth browsing with thoughtfully curated and unique items you do not find everywhere. I am excited they will also be rolling out a fine fragrance bar.
Support local businesses and young entrepreneurs like Mo who are creating experiences that bring people together. If you are looking for luxury experiences or unique things to do on the Eastside, put The Remontant on your list. We will definitely be back.

I was looking for something fun and unique to do to celebrate my birthday and ended up finding this place on social media. I am SO glad I did, my friends and I had the best time! Mo was knowledgeable, patient, and provided clear instructions that were easy to follow. She was also very committed to making sure we had a great experience that was completely hands on. Her story is incredible, I am so happy we were able to support this business. Not only did we have a great experience during class, but the store also has some many amazing items to purchase and discover. I would absolutely plan to return. We booked a candle-making class at The Remontant as part of a surprise birthday celebration, and it ended up being such a special experience. Mo (the owner) and Sam were incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and made the whole event feel thoughtful and well put together.

The space is beautiful, the process was fun and easy to follow, and you can really tell how much care goes into everything they do. Mo has an amazing talent for creating scents, and hearing a bit of her story made the experience even more meaningful.

It was the perfect setting for a girls’ day, but honestly would be great for any occasion. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something a little different and memorable. We’ll definitely be back.

I usially avoid scented candles because they drive my allergies crazy. These are the first scented that are soft and smell so good. I use them all the time.

I had the opportunity to speak with one of the owners of this company and, as someone who has a family member who is very sensitive to scents and has many allergies, I was very impressed with the level of care and attention this company has paid to the quality of their ingredients. I bought this candle, it doesn't give me a headache as many candles do, and it makes my office smell wonderful for clients. I will be a return customer. And, did I mention that they use parchment with wildflower seeds in it for their instructions on the top of the candle? Oh, and the packaging that is perfect for gift giving. Yes, I am raving and I have never written a candle review before. Just give it a try.

It was easy to buy this gift card and use the code when it was time. But also, the candle-making class we bought with it was neat and a great date idea. Monique was super fun and building a candle is fun and affords a lot of opportunity for creativity in choosing scents and naming it.

I love this scent and am glad it was brought back in rotation! My son however says it is not his favorite scent but everyone’s nose is different (he loves the black rose candle).
