From Bed Bound to Brick-and-Mortar in Kirkland
The name Remontant means a flower that blooms more than once in a single season.
For our founder and head perfumer, Mo, that meaning is deeply personal.
After being diagnosed with dysautonomia, Mo spent two years bed bound. During that time, she began crafting custom scents and studying perfumery and cosmetic chemistry from her bed. What started as candle making during the pandemic quickly evolved into something much bigger — a full fragrance house built on intention, resilience, and clean formulation.
Once she was able to walk again, The Remontant officially launched — and within a few short years, grew into a thriving brick-and-mortar fragrance studio in Downtown Kirkland.
