Celebrating Women’s History Month at Our Kirkland Candle Studio
March is a time to celebrate the stories, creativity, and impact of women—and as a women-owned business, it’s something that feels especially meaningful to us.
This month, we also had the opportunity to partner with Yelp to highlight women-owned businesses in our community—something we’re incredibly grateful to be part of.
At The Remontant, every candle we pour and every experience we create is rooted in intention, creativity, and connection.

What It Means to Be a Women-Owned Business
Being a women-owned candle studio in Kirkland isn’t just about what we make—it’s about how we make people feel.
It’s about:
-
Creating a space that feels warm and welcoming
-
Designing experiences that invite people to slow down
-
Building something thoughtful within our local community
Every detail in our studio is shaped by that intention.

A Moment of Community This Month
As part of Women’s History Month, we were honored to be included in a Yelp-hosted experience celebrating women-owned businesses across the city.
While the experience itself was limited to selected Yelp guests, what mattered most to us was the opportunity to share our space, our craft, and our story with new people who value supporting local.
Why These Moments Matter
Moments like these are a reminder of how powerful small businesses can be when they’re supported by their community.
They create:
-
Opportunities for connection
-
Space for discovery
-
A deeper appreciation for locally made goods
As a small business, those moments mean everything.
The Experience We Always Aim to Create
Whether someone visits during a special event or on an ordinary day, our goal is always the same.
We want every person who walks through our doors to feel:
-
Calm
-
Inspired
-
Curious
-
At home
Scent has a way of grounding people, and we love being part of that experience.
